During the London 2012 Games the Aquatics Centre will be the venue for swimming, paralympic swimming, diving, synchronised swimming, water polo and the aquatics discipline of the modern pentathlon.
The wave shaped roof is 160 metres long. The venue will have a capacity for 17,500 for swimming and diving events and 5,000 for water polo.
